What, you wanted a normal bio? Fine. Here you go:

J. J. Hanna is a writer and publishing consultant from Centennial, Colorado. She graduated from Taylor University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Writing, and loves the publishing industry immensely. She is passionate about helping others reach their full potential through writing, design, and platform development. In her free time you can find her baking, working out, reading a new suspense novel, or drinking coffee (sometimes all at the same time). She loves anything that will give her an adrenaline rush, and is always looking for the next great suspense novel.

She currently works as the Online Marketing Assistant to Elizabeth Musser and as the Director of Author and Public Relations for Light Messages Publishing, as well as running her own freelance business helping authors through Hanna Book Solutions.
Who are you?
That's a good question. In a nutshell, I am a writer, reader, marketer, and nerd who most prefers thrillers, suspense novels, and adventure stories.
What do you do in your spare time?
I write novels, watch TV shows, play D&D or Pathfinder, and read new books. Oh, and sometimes I knit or sew.

What fandoms are you in?

Oh boy . . . Supernatural, Arrow, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Riverdale, Loki, Marvel, Firefly, Leverage, White Collar, Nikita, Gravity Falls, Lord of the Rings, Sherlock. . . I'm sure there are more, I just can't think of them right now.
Why are your qualifications?
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Writing from Taylor University, where I not only learned the mechanics of how to edit, write, and get published, but I also practiced everything I learned on my peer's manuscripts.
I won't tell you I'm a qualified writer, I'll let you judge that for yourself by looking at my blog and my portfolio.

Where do you want to be in five years?
Good question. I'll let you know when I get there. For now, I'm focussing my attention on becoming a full-time author, doing whatever it takes to get there.
Is writing the only art you create?
Actually, no. I also enjoy graphic art and photo manipulation. Photoshop and InDesign are two of my favorite ways to pass time, as well as video editing (see my YouTube channel). I also knit and sew on occasion and dabble in painting.
