Changes Coming this Way

Hi everyone!

As my most loyal followers and readers, I want you to know about a few of the changes coming this way.

First, you may have noticed that my website looks a little different. This is to help writers and readers find what they're looking for, as each tab is now labeled toward the intended audience.

If you're looking for resources as a writer, welcome! You're in the right place. This blog has become a sort of library of writing tips over the years, and I want you to know none of that is going away. All of the past articles are going to stay here. In fact, I've made it even easier for you to find what you're looking for with my "Resources for Writers" page.

This page is designed to help you find the posts and categories you're looking for. Go check it out for more information.

Readers are going to have a few new things coming their way as well.

Namely, instead of weekly blog posts, my blog will from now on be geared more toward book reviews and short fiction (like the Ink Blot posts I tried doing for a while).

This means that as I read review-worthy books, you'll get to hear about them straight from me. And as I write a short story every month for my Patreon patrons, you will get to see these as well (a few months late). If you want to be ahead of the game on these short stories, the best way for you to do that is to go sign up for the lowest level tier—$3 a month—and get early access to the short stories as they come out along with exclusive stories behind the stories of my thoughts during the writing process that will not be available on my blog.

Another key change I've just made is that I've switched over to a Mailchimp newsletter list.

If you'd like to make sure you're the most in the know you can possibly be, go sign up for that by following this link. You'll get the short story directly to your inbox instead of having to come to my blog to read it, and quarterly news updates of the most important things (such as future book tour dates and release dates).

The other amazing thing about Mailchimp is that it allows you more control and clarity over what you're signing up for and what you're not signing up for, and the ability to choose what you want to receive and what you don't.

That's it for now! Go explore my freshly redesigned site, get to know me a little more, and have a great rest of your day!

Until next time,

I'll see you then.
